What ever happend to the concept of community? This is the question we first asked ourselves over 10 years ago when we started the company and it is the importance of that question that drives all our efforts today.

Looking at the majority of developments that had been built over the past 25 years in Ontario, we noticed that the essence of "neighbourhood" had virtually dissappeared from the Ontario landscape. There was a time when communities were allowed to evolve naturally, where spaces were shaped slowly by nature, families and commerce, creating an environment where people could spend their lives happily. Today, lack of space, money and imagination have made builders create communities that are no longer neighbourhoods, but merely places to live, often in isolation.

Our mission is clearly different- we start with people and let nature take its course.
